  2. 1., 2. & 5., I’ll back your choices.
For 3., heck, moi doesn’t know enough about bass playing/ers to make an intelligent pick.
Usually moi digs songs with messages or just plain wacky, however.....just a voice to hear
hummmmmmmmmm, Karen Carpenter and, errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, John Lennon - I suppose.

  4. Janet: Although I remember the group Jon Butcher Axis from the early days of MTV, I wouldn't have been able to name one of their songs. I just looked them up on You Tube and watched their video for "Don't Say Goodnight". It sounded pretty good. Thanks for mentioning JBA!

Tor: Thanks for visiting! Karen Carpenter had one of the most soothing and crystal clear voices around. My favorite Carpenters tune is "Calling Occupants of Interplanetary Craft".

Hugh: Very nice choices! Just based on his solo on "My Generation", I almost picked John Entwistle for bassist. In addition to his keyboard work, I think Steve Winwood is one of the all-time great vocalists.
