The Retro Mix Playlist For 3/11/11

Show theme: 70s soul

For this show, my sister co-hosted with me. Although it was her first time ever on the radio, she did a damn good job!  She was prepared, sounded natural and also selected about half of the 70s soul tunes played during the show. In addition to talking about the songs/artists we played on the show, my sister and I also discussed some of our favorite TV shows from the 1970s. Outside of a couple of microphone snafus early in the show, the show went very smooth. One of the mike issues was my fault (it's amazing how listeners could actually hear my sister once I turned her mike on), the other one was equipment-related. My sister and I are looking forward to the next time she sits in as co-host for a show on R&B from the 1980s!
