Friday Funday Trivia: It's a MAD World!

For this week's FFT, I've included 3 montages containing 15 photos of various MAD magazine covers over the years.  You have to correctly identify the person, movie or TV show that is being spoofed on the cover. To help you out a bit, after each number I've given a description of what I'm looking for (person/character, movie, TV show, etc.),

To enlarge the montages, click on them.  Below the montages are the point values for each photo (40 pts total). Along with the values for each photo, there are 3 bonus questions as well totaling 10 pts.

If you are a Friday Funday Trivia virgin about to be touched for the very first time, please read the following rules before playing:

* The game is pub style so looking up the answers, using friends/family/co-workers, etc. for help,  is not allowed.

If you are the only player to correctly identify a photo/photo set, you earn 5 bonus points. The first player to submit their final answers to me will earn 2 bonus points.

* Please do not post your answers in the comments section. Instead, send them to ultfan@gmail.com no later than Sunday night (4/28) at 11:59 PM EST. The answers will be posted on Monday, April 29th.

Not an official rule: If you have no clue, feel free to come up with an intentionally funny answer. Although you won't get credit for a correct answer, you'll get a thumbs up from me for originality, execution, and showmanship. What can I say, I love to be entertained and I'll take it any way I can get it!

Have fun and good luck

Answers to Friday Funday Trivia: Cartoons Based on Movies and TV Shows

Before getting to the answers, here are the names of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers this week:

1st place- Rich: 52 pts... way to go!
2nd place- David L.: 42 pts
3rd place- Michelle: 40 pts

Congratulations to those who made it to the podium and thanks to everyone who played.

 1-5

1. 2 pts-Beetlejuice
2. 2 pts- Men in Black
3. 2 pts- Punky Brewster
4. 2 pts- The Dukes of Hazzard. True or false: The two main male characters in the center of the photo were a part of the cast in the first season of this series. 3 bonus pts - False. The cartoon version of The Dukes of Hazzard (simply titled The Dukes) began production during the period in which Tom Wopat (Luke) and John Schneider (Bo) had left the live action series. As a result, their replacements on The Dukes of Hazzard (Coy and Vance) were also the original main characters during the cartoon's 1st season. After Wopat and Schneider returned to The Dukes of Hazzard in early 1983, their characters eventually replaced Coy and Vance in the cartoon version's 2nd and final season.
5. 2 pts- Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (Bill and Ted was also acceptable)

6-10

6. 3 pts- Napoleon Dynamite
7. 2 pts- Back to the Future The character on the right had two sons whose first names were inspired by what French sci-fi writer? 3 bonus pts- Jules Verne- Although I asked for the name of the writer, I still gave you full credit if you put Jules and Verne (the names of the two sons). I also gave you the benefit of the doubt if you mistakenly put "Jukes" instead of "Jules". :-)
8. 2 pts- The Karate Kid
9. 2 pts- ALF
10. 4 pts- Black Dynamite
11-15

11. 3 pts- I Dream of Jeannie What actor (who later appeared in one of the most successful film franchises of all time) provided the voice for the male character in this photo? 4 bonus pts- Mark Hamill provided the voice of Jeannie's master, Corey Anders
12. 4 pts- My Favorite Martian
13.  2 pts- Gilligan's Island
14.  2 pts- Robocop
15. 6 pts- The Partridge Family. Rich was the only player to get this correct. The cartoon, titled Partridge Family 2200 A.D., originally started out to be an updated version of The Jetsons (with Elroy as a teenager and Judy as an ace reporter). When CBS scrapped that idea, they decided to make an animated futuristic version of The Partridge Family instead. Below is the opening credits of the cartoon (which originally aired from 1974-75).
