Because I enjoyed Mulan, there is little doubt that I would also enjoy some of the other Disney animated features. I did see a portion of Schindler's List a few years ago. I can't remember why I didn't finish watching it. I may give it another chance.

X. Dell: When I used to go to the video store, I was the type who wouldn't immediately rush to the New Release wall for the latest blockbuster. My theory is that just because it's new and popular doesn't mean it's good.

Pjazzy: I could easily do a Thursday Thirteen (and then some) in which I listed recent popular movies that I haven't seen. "Moonstruck" is something that I have seen partially just by channel surfing. It may be worth my while, but it's not something that is on my "gotta see" list.

Although I am not much of a Will Smith fan, I am intrigued by the premise of his new movie "Hancock".

I was shocked that neither Shawhank nor The Color Purple made EW's list. Esp. when I looked at some of the stuff that did make the cut (Pretty Woman and Ghostbusters for example).

David: I almost didn't award Jerry Maguire an asterisk on my list. It wasn't bad. However, two lines that alot of women ate up are also IMO two of the most pandering, cheesy lines in movie history:

"You had me at hello"

and

"You complete me"

Jessica: Once I see the Lion King, I may even write about it here.

The Rock Chick: It sounds like you watch alot of movies. For me, if I can't remember if I've seen a movie, that means that it probably wasn't that good. As a heads up, Toy Story was #5 on the list.Malcolmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02065814455731328574noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498798416841063155.post-75909336389346872072008-07-02T08:16:00.000-04:002008-07-02T08:16:00.000-04:00I will play eventually :) My problem will be remem...I will play eventually :) My problem will be remembering i I've seen the movie or not! LOL

I have to agree with the public, The Lion King was one of the best movies I've ever seen. It really is that good. Toy Story (not on the list) was another one of those movies that I think the adults ended up liking better than the kids. It was hysterical!

I'm not a big fan of war movies, but Saving Private Ryan was quite good as well.

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen most of these movies. The Rock Chickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04653277401124290907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498798416841063155.post-42649516321961901122008-07-01T21:29:00.000-04:002008-07-01T21:29:00.000-04:00You DO need to see The Lion King! :)You DO need to see The Lion King! :)Jessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04888729576174700521noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498798416841063155.post-76948822015141145492008-07-01T12:10:00.000-04:002008-07-01T12:10:00.000-04:00I've seen around as many as you of these. Horribly trite ... ugh.

And I know the list goes to 100, so we can't really complain too much about the lower ranked movies, but South Park was no classic.David Amulethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03758977878243268087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2498798416841063155.post-13507734382997235142008-07-01T08:20:00.000-04:002008-07-01T08:20:00.000-04:00Malcolm, I might be most surprised that you have n...Malcolm, I might be most surprised that you have never seen 'Moonstruck" and "Men In Black". I was also surprised the movies, like "Soldier Story", "Shawshank Redemption", and "The Color Purple" are not considered new classics.
