Last night was the season premiere of Dancing with the Stars 7. Since I missed the first half hour or so, I didn't catch a few of the performances by celebrities such as Toni Braxton and Cody Linley. However, I was able to make a few observations from night 1:
- Brooke Burke has an amazing body for a woman who's had 4 kids. Although there is video evidence that suggests she had one, I didn't notice whether or not she had a dance partner.
- Jeffrey Ross' ass is going home first and deservedly so. Although his dancing was lackluster, I will miss his sense of humor.
- Lance Bass is a damn good study. I had heard that there was reluctance to let him join N'SYNC because of his less-than dancing ability (last night he even mentioned that he was the worst dancer in the group). However, he and his partner turned in one of the best performances of the night.
- 82 year old Cloris Leachman is playing the role of "bawdy old broad" to the hilt. I hope that she sticks around in the competition for awhile.
- After watching Ted McGinley in his tuxedo, I learned that a window store dummy can do the Foxtrot.
- Ex-NFL defensive tackle Warren Sapp has some pretty decent moves for a guy in the "3 bill" range. When he met his partner (Kym Johnson) for the first time, he chuckled as if to say, "dancing with you is gonna way more fun than banging and bruising with 300 lb offensive linemen."
The You Tube player below contains the rehearsal footage and full performances of Brooke Burke and Warren Sapp.

I have never ever seen even 1 minute of this show.
I love this show! I did find that Erica Kane, a woman with so many talents, is a little stiff on the dance floor (lol). Anyhow I will be watching closely because we do have a little competition going between Toni and Brooke...stay tuned.
Brooke was the host for that Tommy Lee making a band show wasn't she? I can't remember what that was called. I'm pretty sure it was her and I did not like her on that. She had all the excitement of a dish rag. Looks hot but boring.
I absolutely love Warren Sapp...always have!
My fave this year: Ms. Toni Braxton...she worked it! I agree with PJazzy...there is going to be some stuff between her and Brooke...I am looking forward to it!
Bryan: You should check it out sometime. It's a great way to see hot women in scantily clad outfits.
Pjazzy: Wow, I didn't know you watched DWTS. I too was surprised by Susan Lucci's stiff performance on the first night. Like the judges said and she admitted too, she was trying to be too perfect. She did make a nice recovery in her second one episode though.
Kristi: Yes, she was the host of "Rock Star". Besides DWTS, the only thing I had ever really saw Brooke Burke in was an episode of the short-lived sitcom "It's All Relative".
Ms. Marvulus: I am starting to become a big Warren Sapp fan. I think he is surprising a lot of people with his fancy footwork. When you think about it, his agility shouldn't be totally shocking. I'll bet that he unknowingly prepared himself for DWTS with the many football drills he did throughout his career.
