17 Days by Prince -- I always liked that song better than When Doves Cry.
Destination Unknown -- I still like this song, as in, not just during nostalgia kicks, but still find it meaningful.
Strawberry Letter 23 -- What album is that from? The title sounds familiar but I don't think I have this song.
After I did the show on Sunday, a Kettering University student (who also volunteers at the station) called to say how much he enjoyed the show. He singled out 17 Days, stating that he had never heard it before and wanted to know where he could get a copy. 17 Days used to get alot of airplay on WDZZ (an Urban Contemporary station in Flint) back in 1984.
Ah, Destination Unknown... this was my 1st exposure to Missing Persons (when the video was in regular rotation on MTV). Life is so strange... when you don't know...
