The election is over and MAGA is still angry. I guess owning the libs was
their only goal in life. For the life of me I can't understand where all

Idol should go away quietly.
Quentin Tarantino!!! He's a big fan and I've always enjoyed him when he was on the show.
Someone who actually has a musical background. A producer of sorts. Someone who is smart and in tune to listen and hear what will sell.
Someone LIKE Simon :)
NO ONE. It will die when Simon leaves.
Oh Pjazzypar...you made me laugh so hard. I voted for P Diddy. I think Tarantino is a great idea too.
Yeah, what pjazzy said, lol. If not that, why not rotate a series of different guest hosts and at the end of the season allow the audience to decide?
Idol shouldn't replace him..they should leave and not let the door hit them in the backside on the way out.
While I would prefer the show to die the sudden but painful death it deserves, if you have to have another judge, I saw Dweezil Zappa.
I say Sarah Palin....American Idol deserves someone as inane as she is. She's on the Faux payroll anyway. It'll give her something "useful" to do.
Ditto what Beckeye said!
Pjazzy: It may go away with a whimper, but if it does it won't be until 2013 (Fox just renewed it for 3 more seasons).
Kristi: I never thought of QT, but he could definitely bring an energetic edginess to the show.
Penny: You listed some good qualities. Something I would add is that the replacement would have to be good on TV. Otherwise, it will be a resounding flop.
BeckEye and Barbara: Simon is a big key to A.I.'s success, but it can survive... as long as they pick the right replacement.
Candy: P. Diddy definitely has the pedigree and the name recognition to fill Simon's shoes.
Lori: Your idea of rotating hosts and letting the audience decide is an excellent one! In a way, it would be a competition within the competition.
Mistress of the D: I can tell you won't shed a single teardrop when A.I. finally does bite the dust. :-)
Rich: Dweezil is an intriguing choice. I'd tune in at least once to see how he did.
Hugh: Your comments cracked me up. What makes your idea even better is that A.I. is a live show and we both know how entertaining the former Governor can be in front of a live microphone.
