this is a hard one...but I'll go with Scrappy.
I picked that Fran person - but is that really her voice or is it just for comedic effect?
Mistress of the D: I think you already know about my utter disdain for Scooby's nephew.
Frigga: Although I am a big fan of Fran Fine and the show "The Nanny", I can see how her voice can grate on other's nerves. In answer to your question, the combo high pitched nasal/New York accent is Fran's real voice (although she has said that she plays it up a little on camera). As a side note, her first book was titled "Enter Whining".
I picked Friends Ross.
I am so addicted to these polls love them!
Urkel could really work my last nerve.
I found Urkel and Screech funny but then again its probably cause I'm a fellow geek. I picked Ross cause I hate friends they all annoy me except Chandler (he should have had his own show not Joey)
Candy Minx: The thing that annoyed me about Ross (or Wuss as my best friend calls him) is that despite his whining, he was able to score some hot women.
If the polls get too addicting, I can send you the link for a 12-step program. :-)
Pjazzy: The first time I saw Urkel was during the first season. I was like, "who is this kid"... I thought he was hilarious. Unfortunately, the producers of "Family Matters" turned him into Fonzie Pt. 2 (meaning that his character took over the show at the expense of the others). Those last few seasons when Jaleel White had grown and his voice had changed could be painful to watch at times.
T: Thanks for paying me a visit. Even though I didn't watch it on a regular basis, I also found Chandler to be the funniest of the "Friends". Out of curiosity, I watched the first couple of episodes of "Joey"... to call it subpar would be kind. His character worked on "Friends" because he was part of an ensemble. I think it's very difficult to build a show around a character whose main trait is the fact that they are dumb.
Interesting. Especially the stuff about the Bionic Woman actress.
Happy TT!
Irkel. On whatever show that was . . . I probably disliked him because my husband thought he was so funny and I just didn't get it. :)
Shesawriter: Thanks for commenting on my TT about the nationalities of actors/actresses. Until last week, I had never heard Michelle Ryan (Bionic Woman) speak in her natural voice.
Scribbit: Your reference to Steve Urkel as "Irkel" made me laugh because he could be very irksome.
Scrappy is the most annoying thing ever....he ruined the show!!!!
