Speaking of Rick Astley..did you know Manillow is covering the Rick Roll on his new album?
Did you see the movie "Roll Bounce?" My daughter (age 10) and I LOVE that movie, and love "Hollywood Swinging." The soundtrack to that movie is fantastic, and the whole movie was quite nostalgic for me since I was about the age the boys portrayed in 1978, and spent a lot of time at the roller rink.
Mistress of the D: No, I didn't know that Barry did a Rick Astley tune on his new album. I watched Barry's video for "Never Gonna Give You Up" on You Tube. It's not bad, but I think the song needs someone with a pleading baritone similar to Rick Roll.
Sheri: No, I haven't seen "Roll Bounce" yet. I need to though because I normally enjoy nostalgic films.
