Earlier this week, First Lady Michelle Obama made an appearance on Sesame Street. She showed up to extol the virtues of gardening and healthy eating when out of nowhere, Big Bird comes on the scene and asks her some pointed questions about President Barack Obama. I had no idea that Big Bird was auditioning for a spot on Fox. Does this mean that the "C" in CTW (The Children's Television Workshop) really stands for "conservative"?

Wow - the far right has resorted to Big Bird and puppet vegetables! So sad! And Elmo stood by and did nothing :(

LOL! Even Big Bird has joined the Birthers. So sad. ;-)
Wow what a spoof. Well done wasn't it?
Marvalus: I was about to give PBS a call myself!
Candy: Yes it was. I tried to find the original clip of Michelle's appearance on Sesame Street just see what Big Bird and the gang really said to her.
Conan almost had me, that rascal! (lol) Big Bird made it funny because he is probably the most unpolitical character on the show. Some of the things said during the satirical send up could have better pulled off by Oscar, for instance. Oscar as a political pundit, now that is the ticket.
Pjazzy: Every time I watch this clip, I'm rolling. I was checking it out during lunch last Thursday and wound up forwarding it to a co-worker because he was wondering what I was laughing at.
