Answers To Friday Funday Trivia: Location, Location, Location!

Before getting to the answers, here are the names of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers this week:

1st place- Pjazzy and Dina: 40 pts each ... awesome job you two!
2nd place- Teresa: 38 pts
3rd place- Jenna: 36 pts

Congratulations to those who made it to the podium and thanks to everyone who played. Below are the answers, followed by the name of the TV show

 1-5

1. 2 pts- Bedrock, The Flintstones
2. 2 pts- Boston, Cheers
3. 2 pts- Mayberry, The Andy Griffith Show
4. 2 pts- Cleveland, The Drew Carey Show
5. 2 pts- Hooterville (you earned 4 pts instead of 2 if you said "Hootersville", which is how Lisa Douglas pronounced it), Green Acres

6-10

6. 2 pts- Atlanta, Designing Women
7. 4 pts- Camden County, My Name Is Earl
8. 2 pts- Beverly Hills, The Beverly Hillbillies
9. 4 pts- Stars Hollow, Gilmore Girls
10. 2 pts- Chicago, Good Times

11-15
11. 2 pts- Springfield, The Simpsons
12. 3 pts- Twin Peaks
13. 3 pts- Gotham City, Batman (if your answer was simply "Gotham", you got full credit)
14. 2 pts- Philadelphia (you earned 4 pts instead of 2 if you said South Philly, which is the section of the city that serves as the show's primary location), It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
15. 6 pts- Neptune, Veronica Mars

Note: I recently started watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia since it's now airing in syndication. If you've never seen the show, you should check it out (esp. if you are a fan of Seinfeld). To give you an idea of what the main characters are all about, they are described on the show's Wiki page as being are dishonest, egotistical, lazy, manipulative and vengeful. Of course, you'd never wanna hang with "The Gang" in real life, but they make for some hilarious sitcom characters!
