Hey Malcolm,
I was able to listen to the show in it's entirety yesterday. You played stuff I hadn't heard since the 80's for instance "Weakness". I had forgotten all about that record. I enjoyed the Kajagoogoo cut and "I'm Your Boogie Man", which in my opinion has one of the best instrumental introductions of all time. I actually have the album, by Melba Moore with "You Stepped Into My Life" and I had actually played it a few months ago. And to top it off you played one of my faves by Ronstandt...Excellent show.
Oh Erasure! The new album is really fantastic. They are one of my favorite bands of the synthpop variety :)
Loved "A Little Respect" and of course, "Mad About You"

Pjazzy: Thanks for the kind words as always! "Weakness" is one of my all-time favorites... I can listen to it over and over. I had forgotten all about Melba's version of "You Stepped Into My Life" until I heard it on XM Radio during the time me, Cook, and Bobby went to Arkansas last year.
Over the past year or so, I have really started to change my tune in regards to Linda Ronstadt. I never disliked her, I just felt that she did too many remakes for my tastes. However, I am really starting to appreciate her versatility. I am going to dig deeper into her catalog and see what's out there.
Mistress of the D: I lucked out and came across a copy of Erasure's new EP (Storm Chaser) where I work. I first got into them way back when I bought "Pop! The First 20 Hits".
Holly: "Mad About You" is one of the perfect songs for the summer (or any time of the year). Plus, the opening bass line is one my favorite intros.
