I've been tagged by Barbara to do this book-related meme.
1. Pick up the nearest book (of at least 123 pages).
2. Open the book to page 123.
3. Find the fifth sentence.

This is what I came up with:
When he was 18, he saw the Weavers in concert, and wanted to join a group like that to sing harmony. Five years later, Erik put together a quartet called the Tune Tellers. They disbanded and reformed as a trio, the Tarriers, which included Alan Arkin.
The above 3 sentences are from the book "The Billboard Book of Number One Hits" by Fred Bronson. Since it's out-of-print, I wasn't able to find a photo of it. In case you are wondering, the #1 song in question is "Walk Right In" by The Rooftop Singers.

You might find this odd, but I have Bronson's book of number one hits within arm's reach, but another work, Facts Behind the Song (ed. Marvin Paymer, London: Garland, 1993), was actually closer.
Let's see, sentences six through eight read:

X. Dell: That is a coincidence that you also have the Bronson book. It still comes in handy on a regular basis. I read the description of "Facts Behind the Songs" on Amazon. It sounds like a fun and informative read.
