Buffy far surpassed it's movie counterpart. I love and miss this show. I have the Chosen Collection and watch it all the time. I listen to the songs from the musical episode all the time and know all the words. I also use clips from Buffy as the alerts for my email.
Buffy: "I hit him."
Willow: "With what?"
Buffy: "A desk."
LOL
MASH was a winner, I didnt know Whats Happening was based on Cooly High.
That makes that show suck even more to me, the movie is a classic, part of my collection.
M*A*S*H was the best. I have seen the movie and shows so many times, I could say all the lines along with the TV. I am like clnmike, I liked Cooley High, but had no idea it is where what's happening came from. Was that Rerun I saw in SWAT ?
I had to go with Buffy on this one. Just a all around great program and the humor was just wicked.
Well, normally I would have voted for M*A*S*H, but you had to go and put in Highlander!!!!
I can't help myself, I confess, I had a crush on Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul), lol.
There can be only one.

I voted for BUFFY, MASH, and the INDIANNA JONES CHRONICLES.
I watched each and every episode of those programs. I have several seasons of Buffy on dvd...and am looking forward to a decent release of the Indianna Jones tv show someday. It wasn't populr but I really liked how every episode was a history lesson. I would cry when Indy was an old man sharing his memories and flashbacks.
Kristi: A former co-worker loaned me some of the Buffy episodes that he owned. I really liked what I saw.
Clnmike: "Cooley High" is one of my favorites too. Me and my sister will often quote lines from it. If you think about it, most of the characters in "What's Happening!" line up almost perfectly with those in "Cooley High". Raj=Preach, Shirley=Martha, Dwayne=Pooter, etc. I learned something a few years ago that pissed me off. When they orig. proposed "What's Happening", they were going to have a character based on Cochise. However, the network nixed the idea because they didn't want young white girls falling for his character. As a result, Cochise was out and Rerun was created. The message is clear: It wasn't OK for those young white girls to fall in love with Cochise, but it was OK for them and the rest of the audience to laugh at Rerun the overweight clown.
Lot2Learn: Because I was so used to seeing the series, it took me a couple of viewings to get used to the movie version of M*A*S*H. To the best of my knowledge, Fred "Rerun" Berry was not in S*W*A*T.
Calle/Carl: Thanks for contacting me. When I have time this week, I will take a look at the message you sent in response to my email.
Missy: Although I haven't seen many episodes of "Buffy", I enjoyed the few that I did. My favorite moment is from the 2nd episode when Willow told Cordelia to use the "deliver" key to save her program.
Pop Art Diva: I knew that at least one Duncan fan would show up. :-) Although I never watched the show, I remember seeing commercials for it all the time on USA.
Candy: According to Wikipedia, there are 3 volumes of "The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles" available on DVD. I'm not sure if they were released in Canada though. Also, The History Channel was showing reruns of it. I caught part of an episode earlier this year. I'm not sure if they are still carrying it.
M*A*S*H was the only one of those shows I ever watched consistently. My choice is easy.
