The only ones interesting to me is were Curious and Slumdog.
But Slumdog will probably take it.
You know, I voted with my heart--Slumdog Millionaire. I caught it over the holidays and it was an EXCELLENT movie! If at all possible and you haven't done so all ready, go see it on the big screen. But something tells me Benjamin Button will take home the award (smile).
I think "Slumdog Millionaire" will get best picture. I've actually just written some movies reviews comparing "Benjamin buttons" to "Slumdog". I hope you get a chance to read them...

Slumdog although I haven't had a chance to see it yet! :)
We went to see Slumdog and Frost/Nixon this weekend. We hadn't been to see a movie in the theater in ages.
I will say that Slumdog Millionaire is in my top 5 favorite movies of all time. It's that good. Frost/Nixon was very well done, but not in the same league. I do think Langella deserves a best actor nomination.
By the way, anyone that liked Slumdog will probably also like La Misma Luna (Under the Same Moon). This is also one of my alltime favorites.
I am hearing a lot of buzz about "Slumdog". Sean Penn is one of my favorite actors and don't be surprised if Milk makes some noise as well. I am on my way over to read Candy's reviews!
I haven't seen any of them yet. I heard Revolutionary Road was snubbed, and was a fantastic movie. Also, I heard Penelope Cruz's movie was great. I have young kids, so I have to wait until after the Oscars to see them on video.
I think Slumdog Millionaire will get it, but I really, really want Milk to win.
I voted for Frost/Nixon just to be contrary but figure Slumdog has it in the bag.
I put a poll up at The Martini Diva but included Best Actor and Actress. Hey, if they're downloading my martini recipe cards they can at least tell me who they're rooting for on Sunday!
Slumdog this and Slumdog that, so yeah, I think it'll win best pic. I know Im the only person on earth who didnt think it was all that. I loved Benjamin Button and thought it was easily better than the other films (except for The Reader, which I havent seen.)
I'm pretty much caught up with watching the nominated movies. I read the novel "Revolutionary Road" and it was so emotionally depressing and exhausting...I'm going to skip the film. Seen significant clips of their acting though...and they look sensational.
I'm super excited for Sunday night. I think Hugh Jackman is going to harken to a David Niven vibe.
