Hey, no "Cop Rock"? ;)

Pjazzy: I was surprised to see Doogie get the first three votes in this poll. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the show. I just didn't expect it to have a lead over such shows as "Hill Street Blues" and "L.A. Law".

Thembi: I started to put "Cop Rock" in there. However, I figured the "other" option would suffice. :-)

You actually gave me an idea for a poll I will do somewhere down the line. Thanks for the inspiration.

What? No Cop Rock?

Thembi, I should have read your comment before posting. Seems to be a bit of an echo in this thread.

X. Dell: Thembi emailed me to say that she was joking about the "Cop Rock" comment. In addition to figuring the "Other" option would suffice, I also left off "Cop Rock" for another reason. I was curious to see how many people would leave comments along the lines of "Where is Cop Rock?" That's 2 and counting.

NYPD Blue is it for me. The other shows I never really watched.

Oh this was impossible. I chose N.Y.P.D Blue...but I watched all of the three choices quite religiously. I chose NYPD because I probably cried the hardest over all on that series. When Jimmy Smit goes...I was losing it!

I even watched the Cop Rock, and still think about what a great concept it was...but not popular. I wonder if it was tried now, with dancing it might get more popular. Look at how popular all the dancing shows are now?

I loved Doogie Howser, MD but I had to go with L.A. Law - I just love it when lawyers air their dirty linen, lol!

I am shocked that Doogie is winning because Hill Street and L.A. Law were phenomenal, groundbreaking shows. Although I was never a regular watcher of Hill Street, I did show up regularly for Law. I watched Doogie religiously; however I threw the show a bone because I was sure that in the final analysis one of the other shows would come out on top. My mistake...I underestimated Neil Patrick Harris's charm :-D
