Thursday Thirteen #74: Women Who Should Have Made Maxim's Hot 100, But Didn't

Earlier this month, Maxim published the Maxim Hot 100 (its list of the hottest women in the world). For the complete list of the women who made the cut, please click the link below:

Maxim's Hot 100 for 2010

As with any list of this type, people will always feel that someone is ranked too high, too low, didn't make the list, etc. Below (in alphabetical order) are 13 women who didn't make Maxim's Hot 100, but I think were worthy of inclusion.

If you have any thoughts about the Maxim Hot 100 itself, including who you think should/shouldn't have made the list, feel free to share your opinion in the comments section of this post.

1. Halle Berry

2. Beyoncé

3. Actress Denise Boutte (Why Did I Get Married?)

4. Food Network personality/bestselling author Giada DeLaurentiis

5. Singer/actress Renee Elise Goldsberry (Rent and The Color Purple on Broadway)

6. Actress Christina Hendricks (Mad Men)

7. Actress Bianca Kajlich (the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement)

8. Headline News personality Robin Meade

9. Actress Paula Patton (Precious)

10. Actress Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire)

11. Natalie Portman

12. Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai

13. Actress Bree Williamson (One Life To Live)

I detest all lists of this nature... Ranking women by their looks is pretty archaic and insulting.

Were CZJ and Zooey on the list?

Yikes. I don't pay attention to things like this as I don't watch TV or go to the movies. I am only familiar with two names on here.

I'm so glad Robin and Natalie made the list. They show that you can have brains and beauty.

Have a great Thursday!

It's hard to imagine that any of these 13 didn't make their top 100 list. Especially Christina Hendricks and Paula Patton.

And of course Natalie. I'll always love Natalie.

I forgot you like OLTL! :)I think that Renee Elise Goldsberry was on there too, at one point. Wasn't she?

You have a good list here, I don't know most of the women on this list though.

Teresa: I can appreciate your sentiments. Thanks for letting it be known.

I Beati: Thanks for stopping by.

BeckEye: Zooey was ranked #73, but CZJ was nowhere to be found. She was under consideration for making my T13.

CountryDew: No problem. I made it a point to include some lesser known hot celebs on the list.

Harriet: Although I don't watch Robin's show often, but I enjoy it when I do. If she isn't the sunny personality she exudes on screen, she's doing a helluva job of fooling the public.

As for Natalie, she even looks good with a shaved head. Now that's hot!

Jay: Given that Christina was recently named the sexiest woman alive by Esquire magazine, I was really shocked that didn't make the Maxim list.

Jessica: I still catch OLTL on occasion just to see what the folks in Llanview are doing. Yes, Renee was a regular on OLTL for 4 years (she played Evangeline Williamson). As of 2007, her character has been in a coma. There was a rumor last year that they were bringing the character back with a new actress, but I haven't heard anything lately.

Self Sagacity: Thanks. I'd say that about 1/2 of the women featured on my list aren't household names.

Couldn't agree more about #6, christina hendricks is an absolute godsend!

Can't imagine most of these not making the list. I agree, they should have.
