Since this weekend is Mother's Day, that's the theme for this week:
Who do you think is the coolest rock mom? Natalie Merchant- Natalie's latest project (the concept album Leave Your Sleep) was inspired by her desire to expose her young daughter to complex poetry. I think it's great when parents take an active role in educating their children at a young age.
Do you think you'd like to be the child of a rock n' roll mom? Yes. I'm optimistic that most rock and roll moms veer towards the Natalie Merchant end of the spectrum. Although there would likely be some drawbacks, I think the good would outweigh the bad.
