What a fun idea for a post. I'd have gone for It's My Party, Shakedown Street, and The Water Is Wide, among others.
Apropos music, I was just popping in to tell you that Herman's Hermits and The Animals (oh, and The Marmalade) did in fact play one solitary concert in Israel last night (and quite far out in the sticks, too!) and I did go to see them. The only original HH was the drummer (Peter Noone is touring separately in the US) but they still brought the house down and the Animals were tremendous. All in all a great night and a great walk down memory lane.
Yay for George Michael! And this Osmond fan didn't think of Marie's song first? Wow!
Good list.
OTIS!!! Sam and Dave!! Sam Cooke! HOME RUN this week!
You had some good songs here. I didn't match any of them, but they are good titles none the less.
We have NO answers in common. But I love how absolutely trippy eclectic your list is. Where else can one find Louis Prima, Elton John, Otis Redding and George Michael on the same list?
Marie Osmond. Excellent! I'd completely forgotten about that song. Great list!
I just did this over at Pjazzy's board. Seems you and I matched on thge "party" entry.
