Care To Test Your Rock & Roll Smarts?

While visiting Layla's Classic Rock Faves yesterday, I learned about Rolling Stone's Rock & Roll Quiz. Billed as "58 questions that will separate the music aficionados from the novices", the quiz has its fair share of "ass busters". If you do take the test, feel free to leave your score in the comments section. Although I scored a 43, I guessed on quite a few of the questions.

Be forewarned about one thing. There is a "tip" near the bottom of the page stating
that the questions get progressively easier. This all depends on your area of expertise because I didn't find that they got easier at all. Below is the link to the quiz.

I love pop culture, but I have never professed to be an expert in the niche of retro music (well, except for television themes, lol!) but I will play for fun!
BTW, you made a comment on my Pop Culture Blog about legal issues re: the Deputy Dawg and Mighty Mouse cartoon shows - I'll love it if you'd "dish" about it and I'd link to the post on my blog!!!
Like I replied - you put me to shame with your insider knowledge of pop culture sometimes!
Happy Sunday, Malcolm!

Pop Art Diva: The info I got regarding ownership/distro of the Terrytoons cartoons came from Wikipedia. Here is the link:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terrytoons

Thanks for the kind words. Because there is so much info out there, it's hard as hell to keep up. I try, but I know there's alot out there that has escaped me.

Jay and Pjazzy: I was on the message board of the site that has the RS Rock and Roll Quiz. Some guy got a 56 and said that it was easy... the bastard!
