Recently, Esquire magazine named Charlize Theron as the sexiest woman alive. Flipping the script, the folks at Maxim magazine compiled a list of the 5 Unsexiest Women Alive. It would have been easy for Maxim to select someone like Rosie O'Donnell for this list. Instead they chose women who, for whatever reason, some people may actually find sexy. Below is the illustrious quintet:
1. Sarah Jessica Parker
2. "Rehab" singer Amy Winehouse
3. Sandra Oh (Grey's Anatomy)
4. Madonna
5. Britney Spears
Not that I find them sexy, but I wouldn't put Sandra Oh or Madonna in the top five of this list. If it were me, I would substitute Chloe Sevigny and Kate Moss for those two.

Hi Malcolm,
I saw this article and I personally don't get Sarah Jessica Parker, but my hubby does. I think she's very attractive and put together, but the hubby never could see anything attractive about her at all. He always thought the other 3 on Sex and The City just made her less attractive....
And Sandra Oh? I really think it has something to do with the hardass characters she plays on TV, otherwise I can't understand that either.....
The other 3, I can understand!

What's wrong with a Funyun pootch? JJ - And, the Barbaro thing made me grin. I'm not a fan of any of the five, so I just thought it was funny. Sandra Oh could be pretty if she gained a little weight....maybe she should eat some Funyuns.
Charlize is in the running until you get a load of her in "Monster" ugh!!! Argubly the sexiest woman alive might be Anjelina Jolie, at least that's what I am hearing around the water cooler from both men and women. Both sexes, regardless of sexual orientation seem to find something very appealing about her. Unfortunately whenever I think of Sarah Jessica Parker I think of "Square Pegs", one of her unsexiest roles by far. Sandra Oh or Britney Spears have never been that attractive, but Madonna has a quality about her, especially in the 80's and 90's that made her a force to be reckoned with, giving her an air of sexiness.
Well, I kinda think the list is both mean and sexist. Let's draw up a list of the most unattractive men . . . but I guess it would probably take all year to compile, huh? (smile)
Anyway, why is Madonna even on Maxim's radar? And where's Paris? She's both talentless, spoiled and fugly . . . but I guess money and power, even if it's daddy's, gives one a leg up in life everytime.
I concur with Lori. Curious to see how a men's magazine trying to take down a few female celebs. It's disingenuous, really.

I think Sandra Oh's very sexy. I really like Sarah Jessica Parker too. Can't argue with Britney Spears though.

Jessica: On the Sex and the City ranking, I would put her 3 or 4 (Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis are 1 and 2). I think you make a good point about Sandra Oh. On the few eps of Arli$$ that I watched, I found her to have a certain amount of sex appeal (I'm a sucker for women who wear glasses).
Holly: I don't know if you ever saw the movie "Ed Wood", but there is a scene where Ed and some of his cast and crew are reading a scathing review of their play. Sarah Jessica Parker plays Ed's girlfriend (who was also in the play). Reading the review she says, "Do I really have a face like a horse?"
I put in an order for a case of Funyuns to be delivered to Sandra ASAP.
Pjazzy: When Vanity Fair named Charlize the Sexiest Woman a few weeks ago, a sports radio station I listen to was discussing it. One of the hosts said that he couldn't get past how terrible she looked in "Monster".
Good call on the sex appeal of Angelina Jolie. One thing we can be thankful for is that we won't have to endure the sight of Angelina with collagen implants, because her full lips are fine just the way they are.
Madonna's peak of sexiness is when she was in the video for "Cherish" with that wet dress clung to her body... oh yeah!

If Maxim had selected more than 5 celebs for their list, I would bet on Paris Hilton making the cut. She doesn't do a thing for me.
X. Dell: Since they normally focus on the hotness of female celebs, I guess that Maxim feels it's necessary for them to address the opposite side of the spectrum.
Jason: Although there are times when SJP can be attractive, I don't consider her all that sexy. On the other hand, Susan Sarandon is not necessarily attractive. However, I have found her to be sexy ever since I saw "Bull Durham".
I've never found SJP attractive. Madonna isn't sexy anymore either. Age and motherhood haven't been kind.
If I would do a list of men..
Brad Pitt would be at the top of my list...come to think of it...I could add Angelina to that top 5...I just don't see what everyone finds so irresistible about her.
Okay, I wasn't gonna go there. But since Pjazzy "started" it (LOL) . . . The following
ugh-moes would make my male version of the list--
1) Flava Flav
2) Kid Rock
3) Michael Jackson
4) Mark Anthony
5) Howard Stern
And beat would go on and on with the likes of Woody Allen, Ozzie Osbourne, Jermaine Dupri . . .
But really, it's all incredibly subjective, isn't it? While Fiddy Cents made Pjazzy's top five, for me he's a lot harder on the ears than he is the eyes . . .
