I choose Edward Scizzorhands. From that list I've only seen 3 of those movies, but if I remember correctly I enjoyed all 3.

Would you believe that I have seen none of these movies?

I think you have to have a specifc taste to appreciate Tim Burton movies, you either love or ... not. I am in the "not so much" category but I do LOVE Johnny and Edward S. is a great movie.

That kicks ass to see Charlie and the Chocolate factory get no votes. I am the original all the way!

Oooh...another good idea for a poll Malcolm!

I love all his movies...I haven't seen Sweeney Todd yet though. I have a lot of his movies on dvd.

I voted for Edward Scissorhands...it's such a good fairytale and so well done. I also love how you can tell a Burton film froma mile away...he is like one of those 70's directors who fit into "autuer" ....

Frigga: I have only seen three of these too (Charlie, Ed Wood, and Scissorhands).

The Rock Chick: I am shocked! With work and a busy household, I amazed that you have time to blog... not to mention watch movies. If you like quirky, you will probably enjoy the 3 Depp/Burton films I have seen. Edward Scissorhands would be a good place to start if you ever plan to watch any of them.

Barbara: I agree... Tim Burton falls into the category of "no middle ground".

Damien: Even though I am a big fan of the original, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" was just as good in my opinion. It helped that Johnny didn't try to imitate Gene Wilder.

Candy: I got the idea for this poll after thumbing through the latest Entertainment Weekly. I recently saw "Edward Scissorhands" again after about 15 years and it still holds up.

I agree with you about Tim Burton movies. They have that unmistakable style that is missing from the work of many directors today. I don't know if you have seen it, but the ABC series "Pushing Daisies" reminds me of Tim Burton... esp. his work on "Edward Scissorhands".

I think Edward Scissorhands was my favorite. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was just...off.

To me Edward Scissorhands is a classic. So beautiful in a surreal setting. Love this movie the best, but I have to say that anything that includes Tim Burton and Johnny Depp is always a "must see" for me!

This is a really great poll idea. I know that Edward Scissorhands is really the all-time best, but I voted for Sweeney Todd.

I have seen them all and man that was frickin hard to pick. I own most of them! But Scissorhands is a classic so it narrowly beat out Sweeney, Sleepy Hollow and what was close to being first, Ed Woods.

We have to pick only one? Great movies when these two collaborate!

I have to chose Sleepy Hollow, then Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Depp would have made a great Joker in Batman
